The Flight Over

I left Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon, flying Hawaiian Airlines to Honolulu. For the first time ever I arrived at the airport and checkin wasn't open, so I had to kill some time. I had a phone that needed charging so that project took up around an hour and a half ... Brisbane has very few power points, and I ended up sitting near a door.

Check in happened, the plane was boarded, and I was lucky enough to score myself 2 seats. My travelling companions were also quite happy about this. (2 gorgeous teddies, named Noel and Chris (for Chris Kringle).

Arriving into Honolulu after a 9 hour flight, at 7.45am I had quite a long layover and spent time hanging around the airport. Thankfully the departure lounges have PLENTY of power points and so I was able to recharge to my hearts content. It was also much warmer and more humid in Honolulu than it had been in Brisbane ... why would anyone visit Hawaii in summer??

The flight to NYC was very crowded, I'd say full! I wasn't as impressed with the food on this flight, but that may have been because the guy next to me kept elbowing me while I was trying to eat, causing me to spill stuff.

I eventually managed to get moved because my tray table broke. I swear it wasn't deliberate!
